How do you identify or analyse different kinds of companies?

There are many different types of companies. The most familiar of these types are limited companies. For some questions you may want to analyse other kinds of companies, for example publicly listed companies, or community interest companies. To analyse a specific kind of company, you should apply a company category filter. The screenshot below shows how to analyse publicly listed companies. In the sectors filter tab, select category, then select Public Limited Company and click update.
